St. Wenceslaus Church

St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church is the beautiful home of our beloved Infant Jesus of Prague Shrine. There are many peaceful areas where visitors can find comfort inside, as well as outside.

Above the entrance door is a faceted colored glass window of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Underneath the window is the text: PRO DEO ET PATRIA – FOR GOD AND COUNTRY

The main altar occupies the central position and is the focal point of the building. This altar is constructed of beautiful white marble and was donated by the Knights of Columbus of the State of Oklahoma on June 24, 1987. The statue of the Infant Jesus on a pedestal on the back wall is flanked by the statues of His parents, His mother Mary and His foster father St. Joseph.

On the left side of the sanctuary hangs a hand-carved Infant of Prague altar screen, depicting the twelve Mysteries of Christ’s infancy and childhood. The carving was made for the National Shrine by self-taught Santero Victor Casaus of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
